The Daevabad Trilogy

As a Tamora Pierce girl who felt like I was endlessly searching for that same feeling in adulthood, this series made me unbelievably happy. The first book I would describe as “swashbuckling” and such a great time. Some romance but that’s not the center of the story. Don’t recommend the audiobook, sadly.
